Today, it features a blend of original homes, expansive two-story family residences, townhomes, and luxurious estates. The neighborhood boasts beautifully landscaped yards, vintage-style street lights, and wide roads, reflecting a community that takes great pride in its surroundings. Kiwanis Park is the centrepiece of this family-friendly neighbourhood. Its lake-like swimming pool is a major attraction, but the park also offers walking and biking trails along the Walter Bean Trail, a leash-free dog park, and a well-equipped playground. Though Kiwanis Park doesn’t have a public school within its boundaries, local students attend Lexington or Bridgeport for grades JK-6, then move on to Margaret Avenue for grades 7-8, and finally to Bluevale for high school. Catholic students will attend St. Matthew for JK-8 before advancing to St. David.
